His journey in aviation began in 1998 asa real pilot. Throughout his career, Jason has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to aviation safety. Beginning with the NTSB, where he laid the foundation for his expertise, he went on to serve as an aviation safety director for a prominent aviation firm. Jason's dedication to safety continued as an AGI and IGI for American Flyers, where he trained aspiring pilots in ground instruction, and as a 737 instructor with Angle of Attack, where he emphasized the importance of proper procedures and risk management. His work in instructional design for a major U.S. airline's flight training program further solidified his role as an expert in aviation safety. • Coastal Airways • In 2022, Jason founded Coastal Airways, a virtual airline where he serves as CEO. Under his leadership, Coastal Airways has set new standards in virtual aviation, incorporating uniform elements such as epaulets, wings, and caps for virtual pilots, which are optional but reflect the airline's professional ethos. Jason's philosophy is rooted in teaching correct principles to prevent accidents, with a strong focus on disciplined crew resource management and threat error management. • Flight Simulation Experience • Jason's journey in flight simulation began in 1988, marking him as an early adopter of the technology. Over the decades, he has remained an active and passionate member of the flight simulation community, continuously enhancing his knowledge and pushing the boundaries of realism.
