Mark Iacono is well known for his crispy pizza at his famed Brooklyn pizzeria. He has lines out the door before the restaurant opens for service every day of the week. But few people know that he also makes some very tasty meatballs. And even fewer people know you can order the meatballs on pizza. So on this week’s episode, Scott ventures to the Lower East Side to taste a meatball trapizzino with Stefano Callegari at Trapizzino. He may even bring a trapizzino back for Mark to try. But will this trapizzino push Mark too far? Does Scott even think this is pizza? Will Mark kick Scott out? • Pizza is one of the most customizable foods in history. He’s traveling all over America, spotlighting these Frankenstein pizzas and trying to make a case for whether these new customizations can, in fact, still be considered a pizza.
