It commonly affects the joints of knees, hips, hands, shoulders, ankles, back, neck, and feet. Symptoms include stiffness, swelling, and pain. Osteoarthritis is a chronic progressive disease. If left untreated, it will get worse. Exercise and weight management can help prevent osteoarthritis from progressing.
