An ordered pair of integers is always listed with the x-coordinate first, followed by a comma, followed by the y-coordinate. We construct the cartesian plane by arranging an x-axis and a y-axis at right angles to each other. Then, we plot the point by using the intersection of the x and y-coordinates. Finally, we label the point in the cartesian plane.
