KAZUTO IOKA JAPAN vs JOSBER PEREZ VENEZUELA KNOCKOUT FIGHT

Ok, guys so I've got a banger for you in this video. We are watching the fight between Kazuto Ioka from Japan and Josber Perez from Venezuela. • This was a 12-round Championship fight, in which Ioka was defending his WBA World Super Flyweight title against the challenger Perez. • The fight occurred in Tokyo, Japan. • So guys an amazing fight there, so much energy and determination in both fighters. Ioka for me just did so much damage to the body that the KO was inevitable. You could really see him get going to the body in the 3rd round and this for me was the time I really noticed Perez hurt and taking time to recover during the round. • We saw a knockdown in the 5th after Perez received a well-placed backhand to his chin from Ioka. Moments later, Perez touched the canvas again from an overhand right. In the seventh, Ioka landed that crushing blow to end the fight by knockout. • Ioka doesn't look like the most athletic boxer and what I mean by this is that he's not trying to use explosive movements over a long-range of distance in some effort to show that he's quicker than his opponent or trying to use some evasive counterpunching that relies on pure reaction. • No, what I see Ioka doing is occupying a range that requires a small amount of movement to attack; so he's efficient and then using a feint or a change of height to disguise his intentions before attacking... so you could call that deception. • Now this obviously means that he is also in range to be hit but this is for me the reason why he doesn't lose his form and hand positioning for defense.
