Here's a technique I often use to catch fish around inshore sand bars. • Follow me on Instagram / johnpagefishing • Gear used: • Perception Striker 11.5 kayak • Star Seagis 7' medium (fast) rod • Penn Battle III 3000 reel • 3.5 Gold Digger Salt Strong paddle tail • D.O.A. CAL 1/8 oz short shank chartreuse colored jig • 15lb KastKing braid (Hi Viz Yellow) • 30lb Trik Fish leader (snook in the area) (approx. 3') • I used an albright knot to join my braid to my leader and a loop knot to attach my leader to my lure.
