30 Dollar DIY Motorcycle Top Case

If you are a value conscious rider a $30 Dollar Homemade Motorcycle Top Case is a great addition to any dual sport or adventure motorcycle. Sure there are bigger tougher, more secure optIons out in the world but you will pay handsomely for them. This cheap and easy to install $30 Top Case has performed well over thousands of miles of adventure riding on and off-road. I've used this same set up on my last two GS's and my trusty Husqvarna 701 enduro LR. This $30 Top Case has seen rain, snow, mud and on a few occasions has been up close and personal with the ground...and come away no worse for wear. This $30 Top Case is easily removable and replaceable. The case I've used in this install is the Plano 15 liter Utility Box (also marketed under a few different names ...Tactical Series Ammo Crate, or 16 qt Storage Crate, Marine Water Resistant Bin Storage Box in Grey) This is as big as is practical on my Husky 701. The box is reasonably water resistant but it is certainly not watertight.
