The Zamarrito Project performing the traditional Japanese song Nanya Do Yara .from the album Maborosi by Willem Hendrikse and Yuka Kawabe (https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/mab.... • Recorded live at the Cultural Center of the Catholic University of Quito. • The project The Flight of the Zamarrito is a concept of visual artist Andrea Boada, bringing musicians from around the world to her native country Ecuador to experiment with the interaction of different cultural expressions and artistic language. This concert is the result of the experiment. • The participants are: Willem Hendrikse (Curaçao): vocals, guitar, bajo sexto; Kok de Koning (The Netherlands): vocals, diatonic and chromatic accordion; Yuka Kawabe (Japan): vocals; Taro Terahara (Japan): bansuri; Andrea Boada (Ecuador): small percussion; Marcus Bressler (Sweden): bass guitar, Saed Sabana (Ecuador): drums and percussion.
