Alison Li is graduating after having completed the Master of Business Preparation Program (MBPP). She chose to attend UCR University Extension to experience the American culture and academic atmosphere, and she has not been disappointed! Alison appreciated the active atmosphere in the classroom where students asked questions, expressed their opinions, and weren’t afraid to talk with professors outside of class. One of the most important skills she has learned at UCR University Extension is having the courage to always ask questions and seek help from the people around her. Alison’s classmates played a role in her success as they shared their experiences and gave her insights that have helped her feel better prepared for her future career. One of Alison’s most memorable experiences was receiving guidance from her program advisor who assisted her throughout the whole process of applying to graduate programs. She credits his tips in helping her be accepted at her dream school. After receiving her Master of Accountancy, Alison hopes to go on to work at one of the Big Four companies. Alison thanks her teachers at UCR University Extension, the undergraduate students at UCR, her friends, and mentors for all their help throughout her time in the program! • Have questions?
