After deliberating all night, a jury found ballerina Ashley Benefield guilty of manslaughter in the death of her husband, Doug Benefield. Ashley shot Doug while the two were in the middle of a contentious custody battle. Since Doug’s death, Ashley claimed she shot her husband in self-defense after months of abuse. The ballerina faces up to 30 years in prison.
