from Ed Story’s Missouri Trout Flys - How to Tye and Fish Them • Hook: #16 - 24 weighted with copper wire • Thread: to match body • Tail: optional - three feather (partridge) fibers • Body: natural furs, blends, sort of buggy, color of choice dubbed in a taper • Throat: optional - four feather (partridge) fibers • Head cement recipe: • Goop • Xylene (epoxy thinnner) • Instructions: • Fill a quart jar half full with Xylene • Squeeze a tube of Goop into the Xylene • Shake until the Goop is dissolved; add Xylene to desired consistency • Apply with a pin or needle dipped in the liquid •    • Making Flex Cement for fly tying
