Select Layer in Composition to be replaced • 2. Select clip in Project Bin that will replace the layer • 3. Hold the Option key and drag from Project Bin • 4. With Option Key still press, drag and drop over the layer in the composition to replace layer while keeping all of the effects and keyframes • How To Replace Layers in After Effects (Cmd + Option + /): • This method uses a keyboard shortcut only and there is no dragging and dropping required to replace the layer • 1. Select Layer in Composition to be replaced • 2. Select clip in Project Bin that will replace the layer • 3. Use the keyboard shortcut Cmd + Option + / • 4.
