After much anticipation, POV footage has been captured of Fury 325 during its test run cycles https://www.carowinds.com/swarm • This test run was conducted during the late afternoon on March 4th, and this video captures what it will look like from a rider’s point-of-view in the front seat on Fury 325. Carowinds announced the opening of Fury 325 back in August of 2014. Since then, tremendous progress has been made within only a few months. Those who helped build Fury 325 battled tough weather conditions, including rain and snow, but Fury 325 is still on schedule to open right on time! • When Fury 325 debuts this month, it will become the tallest and fastest giga coaster in the WORLD. This record breaking coaster will definitely live up to the hype… or should we say the buzz. Riders will climb taller than the Statue of Liberty to an astounding 325 feet in the air before taking the plunge at 95 miles per hour. The initial drop is 81 degrees, so the ride is ultimately straight down. Fury 325 covers more than a mile of track, meaning it will also become North America’s longest steel roller coaster. • 2015 is going to be one exciting season at Carowinds! In addition to Fury 325, the park is also receiving major changes at North Gate, which will make the area more spacious and entry into the park more efficient for guests. Carowinds is also receiving new live entertainment shows as well as Carolina-favorite foods for guests to enjoy during their visit this season. Fury 325 will open and the Carowinds 2015 season will kick off on March 28, 2015. Prepare for a season of epic proportions!
