It prefers semi-arid and dry grassland habitats, often in proximity to human settlements. One of its most distinguishing features is its large, pointed ears, which help it in thermoregulation and keen hearing. It is an opportunistic feeder, consuming a wide variety of food, including insects, small mammals, birds, reptiles, fruits, and even carrion. They are typically solitary animals, except during the breeding season or when raising pups. • The breeding season for Bengal foxes generally occurs from December to February. After a gestation period of about 50-60 days, the female gives birth to a litter of 2-4 pups. The pups are weaned at around 4-5 months, and they reach sexual maturity by one year of age. In the wild, they can live up to 6-8 years. • These pups were videographed near Nalsarovar in Gujarat, India. Nalsarovar is a Ramsar Convention site, designated as a wetland of international importance. • Get photos for Bengal fox pups • https://shop.photostockonline.net/foxes • Get photos for Indian Wildlife • https://shop.photostockonline.net/wil... • Subscribe to view more bird videos: https://bit.ly/44hCGC6 • Follow me on: • Instagram:   / birdfotos   • Facebook:   / birdfotos
