The U.S. Air Force’s X-37B Orbital Test Vehicle Mission 5 successfully landed at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center Shuttle Landing Facility on 27 October 2019, at 03:51. Build by Boeing, the X-37B Orbital Test Vehicle (OTV) is a reusable unmanned spacecraft used for experiments in the development of reusable space vehicle technologies. The OTV-5 mission was launched by a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, on 7 September 2017, at 14:00 UTC (10:00 EDT). The spaceplane conducted on-orbit experiments for 780 days during the OTV-5 mission, breaking its own record by being in orbit for more than two years.
