HackRF One software defined transceiver (yes, it transmits) receiving 40 meters ham band SSB phone with no upconverter. My attic mounted G5RV multi-band antenna is connected to the HackRF One's antenna connector. As you can see it performs surprisingly well. • If you have a HackRF One (or a Chinese clone) I highly recommend you try SDRangel (free software). It's a really nice SDR program that can transmit with the HackRF. It can do Narrow FM, Wide FM, AM, SSB, and other transmit modes. • The PortaPack hardware addon for the HackRF One is also a very cool upgrade for the HackRF One.
