Postural Restoration Adduction Drop Test

This video shows the adduction drop test used by Postural Restoration to determine the position of the pelvis. If the leg doesn't adduct (go down to the bench) the pelvis is rotated forward on that side. If the left leg does not adduct, but the right leg does adduct, then you are in the Left AIC pattern. If neither leg has the ability to adduct, your are a bi-lateral AIC pattern and more than likely a bi-lateral PEC pattern. In other words, your hip flexors and back extensors are overactive and need to be inhibited through the 90-90 Hip Lift variations, abdominal facilitation techniques, and back extensor inhibition. • https://pritrainer.com/pri-left-aic-r... • • If both legs do go down to the bench (they both adduct), the pelvis is in a neutral position.
