So, engine oil change in proper interval is very important for Engine life. • Engine oil is of three types Mineral Oil, Synthetic or Fully Synthetic Oil and Semi-synthetic Oil. You can say ( Mineral + Synthetic = Semi-synthetic ) • I also explained what is meant by 10w40 and what is meant by 20w40 and what is the basic difference between mineral oil vs semisynthetic oil and semi-synthetic oil vs fully synthetic oil. • This all are the multigrade engine oil.
