A cover of the song Dos Oruguitas from Disney's Encanto, originally sung by Sebastián Yatra and written by Lin-Manuel Miranda. • Guitar, piano, and vocals all performed by me. The drum track and other sounds are also performed by me but through GarageBand and not on the actual instruments themselves. • I love this song a lot and have been wanting to cover it for a few years now, so I'm glad I finally got around to doing it. I'm also NOT a Spanish speaker so apologies if some of the pronunciations are a bit off (though I think they should be fine as I tried to match the way Sebastián Yatra pronounces the words). I did occasionally interchange the way I pronounce the y sound in words such as ya or yo and the way I pronounce the ll sound in words such as llenas or capullos . This is partly because of the way the original song sounds but it may vary throughout so I'm sorry if it sounds like I'm mixing European Spanish with Colombian/other Spanish dialects. • This is also the first song I've done guitar tab for and I'm happy with the way it turned out! It wasn't too difficult of a tab to learn though to be fair I did it by ear and improved quite a bit of it since I don't know how to read tab and was too lazy to learn at the moment. The piano is supposed to sound like a choir (since I used the GarageBand choir ensemble or something) and I thought it would be cool to replace the voices in the original song with that piano instead. I think it turned out fine but I do prefer actual voices over the piano. • As usual, stay tuned for what's to come. Something BIG is coming next week. To be fair, it may not look big for people watching but we stretched the process of making it over two years since we kept putting it off and it's finally been completed.
