Glaggleland's symbol is a yellow smiley face, present in most of its imagery such as Glognuts, which are smiley-shaped donut cakes served at the park. Glaggleland memes typically center on the rides (which are dangerous and creepy), multiple words and phrases that use the prefixes glog- and glag- (such as glognuts, glognauts and glogged ), a Glaggleland disaster and the difference between two smileys (Giggler and Enphoso) with one being good and the other being evil. Glaggleland purportedly started in a private Discord server, however, Glaggleland memes and videos first surfaced on social media in 2021 on Instagram, spreading to YouTube, Reddit, TikTok and the GIF-sharing website Tenor in 2022 and 2023. Glaggleland is also known in Roblox.
