Wixom Lake is located in Mid Michigan. The collapse of the Edenville Dam occurred on May 19, 2020. Wixom Lake was rapidly rising due to heavy rainfall and the Edenville dam could not hold back the water. The side of the earthen dam failed sending water rushing towards Sanford Village. The aftermath and damage left behind is devastating.
