Here I take a detailed look at the Kamico's 6SJ7 pentode preamp. I estimate performance, take gain and frequency response measurements then show harmonic distortion. I close by comparing my measurements to my estimates. I also introduce the impact on pentode screen voltage choice. • Video Errors - I filmed this over a couple days and made small mistake with gm calculation. The Av gain is 20.2 / 0.114 = ~177, this makes gm = 763microMHOs.
