A switch issue at 9th Avenue prevented R trains from terminating on the middle track at 9th Avenue during weekend construction that required them to be rerouted to the D line. As a result, trains were long-relayed to 62nd Street. This provided ample opportunities to get footage of R trains running on the West End Elevated, which is an unusual sight.
