Scuba Gear Testing - XDeep Zeos Wing BCD • Seminole Scuba allowed Scuba Kitty to test their custom XDeep Zeos Wing Backplate BCD. Wing backplate BCDs are often thought only for the technical diver, but the XDeep Zeos gives a wing backplate option for the recreational single tank adventurer. It is made of durable materials in the European Union. It allows for two bladder sizes for either a 28 or 38 pound (13 or 17 kg) lift capacity. There are several models that vary in materials used for the harness, backplate, straps, weight and so on: Standard, Komfort Deluxe. The Zeos is designed to help a diver achieve a flat trim enhancing your buoyancy which should improve your air consumption and make finning easier. The Zeos also holds you high out of the water to help keep your head shoulders clear of the waves. There is also lots of customization options from trim dump weight pockets to color of the bladder. Seminole Scuba had their XDeep Zeos bladder embroidered with their name and logo. • Scuba Kitty enjoyed trying out a BCD style like her father's. She was expecting the backplate to be hard uncomfortable. It turns out the Zeos is extremely light weight you can't feel the nuts bolts of the backplate at all. The Zeos can be adjusted to any size diver, and it would have been great to have had more time to adjust the Zeos to her.
