Noticed the automation volume on choirs were accidentally muted at 5:33 and reuploaded a revised version here. • Reimei is one of Kitaro's most prolific masterpieces from the album Kojiki. Here is a cover I have taken some time to complete. It was a daunting project as it is a long piece with many instrumentations and a guitar solo that I could not play. The 700FS, 800DV, Choirs and Horn is played live in this recording. Some snippets of instrumentations are also featured, played live. • Firstly, I would like to give special thanks to ‪@hide0710_healing‬ for collaborating on this piece for the Guitar Solo. It was an honor to work with Hide-san and provide an amazing performance on the Guitar!! I could not have completed this cover without Hide-san's help. • My thoughts on reflecting on this project: This was a very special project. Although I have heard this piece countless times, it is still as impactful and nostalgic as ever. Kitaro's music has walked me through life, the ups and downs, and this piece has been part of my life.. • Technicals: The instrumentation was mostly done on the Kurzweil PX1000 and Logic Pro instruments. The string and choir sounds were the most important as it has the same character as the original piece. This cover was done as accurately as Kojiki: Live in America. Some elements of the live version were reflected in the Izumo Taisha concert, where the 800DV can be heard. I would like to have featured Hide-san's playing on video, however, we were limited on resources and agreed to have audio only.
