This company was a result of a merger of five regional utility companies, each operating a different GIS system. Hexagon provided a standardized GIS platform to connect network data from Bayernwerk’s legacy systems. The utility was able to seamlessly merge all vital data into a central database. Today, field and office workers at each of the utility’s 19 network centers use the solution to obtain real-time information about the region’s power infrastructure.
