EXCELLENT OST ALBUM! It SCREAMS 1984 at the height of the break dancing craze. Electric Boogaloo was released nine months after its predecessor Breakin' by TriStar Pictures and by Cannon Films a few months later. In some international locations the film was released under the title Breakdance 2: Electric Boogaloo. Another sequel, Rappin' (also known as Breakdance 3) was made but had an unconnected plot and different lead characters – only Ice-T features in all three movies. Like its predecessor, much of the film's soundtrack was provided by Ollie Jerry, comprising the duo Ollie E. Brown and Jerry Knight. The title track, Electric Boogaloo (Track 1) reached number 45 on the R B charts in 1984/85. This complete OST soundtrack was released under Polydor Records '84. • (Btw, Apologies but I personally removed the track: Din Daa Daa by George Kranz due to copyright. As a substitute, i included the RARE track that wasn't included on the soundtrack titled: Reckless Rivalry Combat aka Combat by Ice T, The Glove, and Dave Storrs to take it's place on the album.
