The spur gear blow out as soon as I switched from 7.2 v NiMH to 7.4 lipo. So I went online and found out what the brushless pro volcano version used for a spur gear and installed that one. • The volcano epx pro brushless use's a metal gear. • Here's where I ordered minehttp://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00I... • I upgraded the pinion gear to a 21 tooth instead of a 17 tooth stock pinion. It gave it a little more speed.
