Ingredients: • Urad dal - 2 cups (Soaked in water for half an hour) • Sugar – 2 cups • White rose essence - ½ tbsp or for your taste • Food colour – A pinch • A ziplock cover • Steps: • Grind soaked and drained urad dal in small batches to a smooth paste without adding water. • After grinding, the batter has to be used immediately. • Add sugar to half cup water and stir well. • Turn on the stove and cook stirring till the solution becomes sticky when felt between your fingers. • Add food colour and switch off. • Add white rose essence and mix well. • Transfer it to a small deep bowl and set aside. • To shape the jalebi, use a ziplock bag or icing bag or piping bag.
