Enjoy my archive dive into the past; I recently came across a cache of videos from a few years ago clogging up my computer, so I decided to reedit them as a conglomerate of vids reflecting this time. I didn't try to put them in any order but I did try to put all the vids of one particular bat into some degree of order. • Ouzo falls asleep in his food bowl • Fish (Uffish) peed then scampers along the branch to hide; he has no worms in his poos, so all is good. So adorable. • Blackadder, newly rescued and being very young and vulnerable lies in my hand in my sookie. • Parlez-vous does her adorable thing without actually making the grunty noises for which she is famous. • Bean (Beanie), buddy of Sprout, is on the dressing gown and doing awesome flappies. • Inky Pinky is doing better now after a squidgy start to her time in care. • Indi makes an appearance; she was only with me for 2 days and went into care with another group for raising and related. • Maggie does some suggestive tickles with Caltrops, which he enjoys hugely. • Hugo (the huge young flying-fox pup boy) is a bit bitey; he liked to lunge at you with his teeth but he didn't really want to sink his teeth into you, it was all for show. He went to a carer who needed older babies on fewer feeds per day, and went well and was released with his age mates. • My incubator is crying; babies in the incubator... • Caltrops dropped his dummy, and shows how he likes to be toileted with a stretching of his neck... oops. • Tolga Bat Hospital takes donations for me. Tolga is an awesome place in Far North Queensland, which has charity status. By sending donations to them, they get a percentage (and deserve every cent) and they can allocate money to me for batty expenses without it becoming part of my income stream (which makes tax time difficult). • https://tolgabathospital.org/donate/ • Mention Megabattie or Meg in the PayPal message box and the money will find its way to me. • If no message box appears, please email Jenny to tell her that the money is for me. • IMPORTANT: If you pay through the PayPal Giving Fund, can you please email Jenny with the AMOUNT DONATED and the name under which you have donated, OR just forward along the PP receipt. • The Giving Fund doesn’t charge any fees (so the bats get more money) but PP doesn’t itemise out the amount, they just send a total every month, and we don’t know if the money is for Tolga or for Megabattie. • Here’s Jenny’s email. • [email protected]
