A unique take on what a Don’t Starve character really was, and a stark juxtaposition to every other one. Instead of being able to cower amongst Pigmen as protection from any enemies you may have faced at the time, you were instead attacked on sight by the stoic swine. However, you were instead offered allegiance amongst the spiders, previously nothing more than pests and vermin most valuable when they were dead. Webber turned the traditional gameplay loop of Don’t Starve on its head – and could easily have been considered one of the most unique characters present in the game at the time of Reign of Giants’ release. • • So does Webber’s rework give him some much needed freshening ups?
