Today's embroidery experiment and embroidery lesson is how to set up and stitch couching designs that are built into the brother Luminaire xp2. For this lesson, I am using Caron Variegated thread with a weight of 3, which is a bit thinner than the recommended weight of 4. You need the long yarn guide marked EC (embroidery couching), the couching foot, yarn, and the teeny tiny special tool for threading the yarn through the couching embroidery foot.
