This one simple mistake could send your truck to the scrapyard or drain your banking account. Diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) is corrosive and harmful to several metals. This will cause severe damage to a diesel truck fuel system and turn your diesel fuel into a wrecking ball through your engine! It is best to not start the engine and drain the fuel tank immediately.
