#StrixOutdoors, #IronWill, #GrizzlyStik • In this penetration test I put the Grizzly StiK (‪@GrizzlyStik‬) Alaskan 200 broadhead and the IronWill Solid 200 (‪@IronWillOutfitters‬) up against two elk shoulder blades (scapula). These two broadheads were perched at the front of a GrizzlyStik Momentum TDT 320 shaft that I custom built using Ethics Archery aluminum insert/outserts and AAE Max Stealth vanes. Total weight for the arrow (with point) is about 625gr with ~18% FOC. Shot from my ‪@BowtechArcheryOfficial‬ Reign 6, 28.5 , 74# bow. I know that it's not the same as shooting through a live elk but I thought it was still interesting to see what each of these heads could do. I have no concerns bowhunting for elk in Montana or whitetail deer in Texas. I'm pretty sure either will break through some bones and get the penetration needed for an effective shot.
