Who can resist cuddling with a cute, fluffy bunny? We all know we can't. • However, as much as my bunnies enjoy being touched, petted, and hugged, I have also seen numerous domestic rabbits that despise it. Seeing the discrepancy, I decided to question my rabbit-loving friends about their bunny snuggling, as well as what the experts had to say. Some rabbits enjoy being cuddled, while others dislike it completely. Some will allow anybody to snuggle them, while others will only let their owners. It has less to do with breed and more to do with personality, age, and previous treatment of the rabbit. • They do, however, have certain specific needs when it comes to physical love. You can't just run-up to a rabbit, pick it up off the ground, and start cuddling. Remember, rabbits are prey animals, and as such, they are inherently wary and cautious. Their instincts urge them not to be picked up or held from the moment they are born.
