Bike fit to help with Achilles Insertion Calcific Tendonitis

This bike fit client has been diagnosed with Achilles Insertion Calcific Tendonitis. She comes from a background of running and is currently seeing a Physio and has had orthotics made by a podiatrist. • Couple of important factors during the fit were saddle height and fore aft position of the saddle as well as cleat position. • The aim of the fit was to minimise ankle flexion and extension (dorsiflexion and plantar flexion). The cleats were moved back as far as possible with the current equipment and the saddle height lowered.
