This 1966 series was a sensation: airing twice a week, it zoomed up the ratings charts as viewers fell for the outrageously tongue-in-cheek storylines, dialogue, and special guest villains. Eventually the novelty wore off and the show ended after three seasons. The theme, presented by request, is by Neil Hefti ('The Odd Couple').
