6Axis Stewart Platform Project using Linear Actuators

We are thrilled to share this amazing project that we sponsored that was created by the University of British Columbia's Engineering Physics department. A team of 4th year engineering students designed and built a 6-Degrees of Freedom Stewart Platform with the help of our linear actuators (https://www.progressiveautomations.co...) and motion control technology. • Along with the custom graphical user interface (GUI), a Leap Motion Controller was integrated to allow users full motion control of the entire platform with the wave of their hand. This combination allows for an interesting and interactive experience where one can learn about linear motion control as well as the physics behind it.
