Shovelnose Guitarfish Fishing In The San Francisco Bay Bay Area Fishing

Today me and Zach head down to our favorite inlet here in the San Francisco Bay to try and get anything to bite. While we're down there we had three species we were fishing for sharks, rays and guitarfish. Today was very windy and it was relatively cold. We started off by driving down to a nugget supermarket to pick up some snacks and drinks. It's not a Bay Area Fishing trip without some snacks. We then drove down to the spot and unpacked our stuff onto the small pier. After waiting no more than 2 minutes we got our first bite on Zach's rod. While tending to the bite on Zachs rod I got a bite and set the hook. After battling the fish for 5 minutes it came close to shore and it was a good size Shovelnose Guitarfish. When bay area fishing I love catching guitarfish as they are one of the coolest looking fish in the San Francisco Bay. After releasing it where it belongs we hyped each other up and got our lines back in the water. 30 minutes later we had not got any big bites and decided to get the drone up to get some killer shots of the spot and the surrounding areas. It's always awesome getting the drone in the air as it improves the quality of these videos and it sometimes helps finding secret fishing spots. As our time came to an end we were satisfied with what we had caught and we talked about coming back to this spot soon because it's so close and has the possibilities of catching some many different species.
