Here is a route calculation speed comparison between Garmin's latest offering Garmin Fenix 8 51 mm Solar and the previous iteration Garmin Fenix 7X Solar. • Both watches has the same map downloaded from OpenTopoMap website. The calculated point is 44 kilometers away, so we can better see the difference between the watches if there's any. • The calculation starts after 01:10 and ends after 02:10. The rest is just me playing with the watches checking the routes etc. • Both watches finish almost at the same time. So they apparently share the same processor, or run at the same frequency etc.
