The TRUTH about lifting heavy ๐ • You've probably heard the term lifting heavy and maybe even gotten scared off by it. ๐ฎ • But lifting heavy is not scary. ๐ค • It just means choosing a weight that challenges your muscles close to your limit. • An Example: • BEFORE: When I started strength training, my 'heavy' was not a big number - in the blue top, I've got about 15kg on the bar. • TODAY: After consistently lifting and slowly increasing my weights as I got stronger - my 'heavy' is in a different ballpark. • So 'heavy' is always individual: different for me and you. • And also your heavy will change over time as you get stronger. • Make sense? ๐ • Are you lifting heavy?
