Arianespace launches the Ariane 5 rocket carrying the Galaxy 35 36 and MTG-l1 satellites from ELA-3 at Guiana Space Centre in French Guiana. • The Galaxy 35 36 satellites are telecommunication and data connectivity satellites built for Intelsat.
