This will be done with the Ore Excavation mod. What is the Ore Excavation mod? Well, it allows you to mine entire veins of ore and cut down trees by breaking one block just like VeinMiner. Unlike VeinMiner though, Ore Excavation is completely in Minecraft single player. So, without any more delay, here is how to download and install Ore Excavation in Minecraft 1.16.5! • The first step of getting Ore Excavation/VeinMiner for Minecraft 1.16.5 is actually downloading and install Forge. You can find our complete guide to getting Forge in the description above. In that video, we go over every single step of downloading, installing, and setting up Forge for Minecraft’s Ore Excavation mod. We even tell you how to fix some issues you could have when adding Forge 1.16.5 to Minecraft. • After you have Forge, we can move to downloading Ore Excavation 1.16.5. You can find the download link in the description above, and that will take you to our text tutorial for installing VeinMiner in Minecraft single player. Once you are there, scroll down and click the yellow ‘Download Ore Excavation’ button. That will take you to the official Ore Excavation download page. Once you are there, look at the right-hand sidebar and scroll down until you see ‘Minecraft 1.16’. Under that, you will see Ore Excavation 1.16.5. Click the orange download button to the right of this version, and VeinMiner for Minecraft single player will start downloading. • Now, we can move on to actually installing 1.16.5 Ore Excavation. This is pretty simple. Just hit the Windows Key on your keyboard and ‘R’ at the same time. This will open up the Run application. There will be a text box in this application where you can enter ‘%appdata%’. Then, hit enter. Your Roaming folder will then open. In this folder, you will have a ‘.minecraft’ folder. Open that, and you will have a ‘mods’ folder. If you don’t have a mods folder, just create one! • Finally, when you are in your mods folder, drag-and-drop the Ore Excavation file you downloaded into this mods folder. You have now installed Ore Excavation in Minecraft 1.16.5, and you can start using VeinMiner’s features in Minecraft single player! You aren’t completely done yet though. You still need to open up the Minecraft launcher and select the Forge profile by click the little arrow next to the play button. Once you have selected the Forge profile click the play button and Minecraft 1.16.5 will open up with Ore Excavation installed! • To use the Vein Miner features in-game, just press the excavation key and mine the block you want.
