How to transfer data from iPhone to iPhone

Apple has made it really easy to upgrade your iPhone. If you've an old iPhone or iPad, you could easily transfer all your apps data to your new iPhone. I'll guide you every step of the way. • On your old iPhone/iPad, you should receive a notification to help you prepare your iPhone to transfer the data to the new iPhone. • Don't worry if you're not getting this notification. Another way to access this setup is by going to the settings. This setup will help you transfer all your apps and data to your new iPhone. iPhone will provide extra free iCloud storage just so that you could transfer all your data, apps, settings, photos, videos, etc. to your new iPhone. Otherwise, iCloud has only 5 GB free storage. iPhone might update your Apple ID settings so that it could use end-to-end encryption. • iPhone will transfer all your apps data to iCloud. Make sure you're connected to WiFi. You might have some apps that are not syncing to iCloud. So, you can select to upload these app data as well to the iCloud. Depending on your WiFi speed and amount of data, it might take a while for the iCloud Backup to be completed. Basically, Apple is giving this extra storage for only 21 days and then it'll be deleted. This is because Apple only provides 5 GB free storage but unlimited storage when transferring to a new iPhone. Free storage will be deleted few days after the data transfer even if it be before the 21 days. • Hold the side button to turn ON your new iPhone. To be able to use quick start feature, your old iPhone should be iOS 11 or later. Make sure your Bluetooth is ON on your old iPhone. Bring your old iPhone next to the new iPhone. I call it a 3D QR code, even though iPhone calls it simply an image. What you call this? Your encrypted passcode is sent to your new iPhone after scanning the 3D image. So, enter the passcode of your old iPhone to make it the passcode of your new iPhone. Until you see these messages on your iPhones, you'd need to keep both the phones close to each other. • Option 1 - Download from iCloud. Takes around 15 minutes. • Option 2 - Transfer from iPhone directly. Takes around 5 to 10 minutes. • You got even more options here. • You can select customize to select what to transfer or not to transfer from your old iPhone. iPhone is asking the same questions again after the data is restored! Apple, please fix this! In my opinion, this process could be much more smoother. It's incredible that after the transfer is completed, the new iPhone will look exactly same as the old iPhone. All your photos videos will also be restored to your new iPhone from your old iPhone. Some app are already logged in and are completely restored, example Spotify.
