This ham will make the perfect center piece for your Christmas Meal that will definitely impress your guests. This ham is a spicy sweet mix perfectly paired with bourbon and a kiss of smoke!! • *Links to Products I Used will be below* • Cook Time: 4 hours • Prep: • 1/4 Cup Cherry Preserves • 2 T. Neil Sarap Hot Dayum Rub • Neil Sarap Hot Dayum Rub (for Seasoning) • Mix the preserves and 2 tablespoons of rub, with a bbq brush paint some of the mixture between the spirals on the ham. Then rub the remaining preserve mixture on the outside of the ham to create a binder. Now season with the rub to coat the outside. • Glaze: • 1/2 Cup Cherry Preserves • 1/2 Cup Bourbon • 1 T. Tailgators Party Rub • Add these 3 ingredients and cook until they reduce by 1/3 • Then add • 3/4 Cup Honey • Set your smoker at 250º and smoke the ham for about 2 hours, rotate after 1 hour to help keep an even cook. After 2 hours turn the smoker up to 300º and build the glaze and add it to the smoker. Let the glaze reduce by about a 1/3 (takes about 30 minutes), when glaze has reduced by 1/3 add in the honey and put the glaze back on the smoker another 15 minutes. Now you are ready for the first glaze on the ham, continue to apply glaze every 30 minutes until internal temp of the ham reaches 140º. Let the ham rest for 30 minutes before you slice and serve. • RUBS: • https://neilsarap.com/product/hot-dayum • https://www.sucklebusters.com/bbq-rub... • If you have any questions drop them in the comments!! • If you cook this recipe I would love to hear what you think. • #pitbossnation #doublesmokedham #pitboss
