There are some ways that you can manually backtest a forex or CFD trading strategy for free. • One of them is to backtest on MT4/MT5 using Metatrader strategy tester, howere, this is not the best method because the strategy tester is designed for backtesting EAs. • Another method is backtesting on Tradingview. Tradingview is a website that offers trading services including charting service where there is a backtesting tool.
