With the AcuRite 5-in-1 Weather Station, measuring and monitoring important environmental conditions is as easy as looking at a display. The weather station includes a 5-in-1 weather sensor, a colorful display, and a lightning detector. You can also add up to two indoor/outdoor humidity and temperature sensors (sold separately). • The illuminated, auto-dimming display shows important rainfall, wind, temperature, barometric pressure, humidity, and lightning detection information. At the bottom of the display, AcuRite’s Weather Ticker™ service streams real-time information and alerts. • The Weather Station also includes the ability to program weather alarms, measure rain precipitation, measure environmental conditions for up to five areas around your home, display information in Spanish or French, as well as calculate heat index, wind chill, dew point, and “feel like” conditions. • The 5-in-1 weather sensor transmits data every 18 to 36 seconds, wirelessly connecting up to 330 feet away. The sensor automatically empties the rain collection cup once filled. The sensor is easy to install, is durable and weather-resistant, and has a 2-year battery life. • The lightning detector detects lightning within 25 miles, providing alerts to strikes with a warning light and audible alarm.
