Essential Inspection for Grand Design RV Front Frame Flex

Today at California RV Specialists, we conducted an inspection on a Grand Design Solitude for front frame flex and I-Beam cracks. Unfortunately, we discovered that the SRT team did not properly repair the I-beam cracks as they only welded them without following the Lippert repair bulletin. The reinforcement plates and cross beam support were not installed as recommended. (Part 2) • Instead, the team simply replaced the lag bolts and wrote the repair specifications on the pin box. The movement and noise inside the unit due to the frame flexing and shifting are quite shocking.
