In this tutorial I’ll remake and decorate a cheap axe to a Viking axe. I decorated and modified the axe head and I also decorated the axe handle. I made this axe so I could continue to work on my electro-etching skills. First I removed the axe head and cut it with an angle grinder. Then electro-etched the axe head and the plates on the handle. For etching I used water, vinegar, salt and a power source. I added some brass decoration and leather on the handle too. I rebuild this axe from the cheapest axe I could find, so it was a quite small axe. So maybe the right term is hatchet? Anyway I hope this leads me to make something more better looking in the future. It’s a small axe so I didn’t waste much money anyway. • Please leave a like if you liked the video.
