Take a quick glance at the new 2021 Opel Corsa 1.2T Elegance! • This model features the same engine and basic tech that is in the updated Peugeot 208 which has freshly arrived on our shores, and will most likely have a bit of a waiting list. The question being, (as the Corsa has been around for a longer period already than the 208) should you wait a bit longer for the 208 or just go straight for the Corsa? • Coming in at R386 900 for the Elegance model, it seems like mighty value when you think about all the interior quality trim and creature comforts for a small hatchback like this. Not to mention, the 3 cylinder 1.2L turbo-petrol engine pushes out 96kW and 230Nm of torque, with the latter making the car feel quite punchy and nippy! The updated overall look gives the car so much more presence on the road than ever before, compared to its predecessors. It features automatic rain sensors, automatic lights with daytime running LEDs, a reversing camera which includes a 360 degree view, driver and passenger heated seats, lane keeping assist, parking sensors and a whole host of other modern features that make this car just that much easier to live with! • Unfortunately we weren’t able to make a full feature review video with this car just due to the limit we have with equipment and no extra spare hands during the time we had this model on test.
